About Friends of YVRTA

Friends of the Yampa Valley Regional Transportation Authority (Friends of YVRTA) is a citizen-led committee dedicated to supporting the creation and success of a regional transportation authority in the Yampa Valley. 

The committee is made up of community members including local workers, business owners, and parents, and is joined by volunteers and citizens who agree the establishment of an RTA is beneficial to our community.

Our purpose is to:

• Advocate for transportation choices that benefit all residents
• Provide information to the community on the benefits of an RTA
